KP Pillow Block Bearing

Pillow blocks contains anti-friction bearing in mechanical power transmission systems to support shafts and couplings

Details

  • Suitable for mounting on flat surfaces and high radial load capacities
  • The housing is made of zinc die-cast
  • The bearing insert has an extended inner ring with grub screws
  • The pillow block bearing is mounted on the shaft with two grub screws
  • The bearing insert can compensate for low static misalignment
  • Two-piece sealing system: with sheet steel washer reinforced rubber seal inside; outside additionally with upstream slinger made of sheet steel for high mechanical protection against foreign matter
  • Lubricated for life; under normal operating conditions re-lubrication is not required

A Pillow Block Bearing is a mounted anti-friction bearing that is contained within a solid cast iron, ductile iron or cast steel housing unit. Also referred to as a housed bearing unit, meaning they are self-contained, greased, sealed and ready for installation on the equipment.  Pillow Block bearings are typically bolted to a surface, so that the attached shaft runs parallel with the surface.

Feature of Pillow Block Bearing

  • The bearings have a compact design and are easy to mount and dismount
  • With certain self-aligning effect
  • Large load capacity
  • Long service life
  • Low friction; low vibration and low noise
